Overview

Super Cialis is a combination product containing tadalafil (for erectile function) and dapoxetine (for ejaculation control). It is intended for adult men aged 18 to 64 who experience ED alongside PE. Reported duration of tadalafil effect can extend up to about 36 hours, while dapoxetine acts mainly within the first several hours post dose.

Available strength: 20 mg tadalafil + 60 mg dapoxetine. Some users may require lower doses due to other medications or health conditions; this should be assessed by a clinician. For practical tips on taking it, visit Directions for Use.

Note: In the United States, tadalafil is FDA-approved for ED, but dapoxetine is not FDA-approved for PE. See Legal Status in the USA for details.

How It Works

Tadalafil belongs to the class of PDE5 inhibitors. By relaxing smooth muscle and increasing blood flow to penile tissue during sexual stimulation, it can help achieve and maintain an erection suitable for sex.

Dapoxetine is a short-acting SSRI used in many countries for on-demand PE treatment. It slows the reuptake of serotonin, which can reduce ejaculatory reflex sensitivity and help lengthen time to ejaculation.

Because both effects happen on slightly different timelines, some individuals notice erection support persists longer than the ejaculatory delay. Read timing guidance in Directions.

Directions for Use

Use only as directed by your healthcare provider.

  • Avoid alcohol and grapefruit juice, which can worsen side effects or alter drug levels.
  • Swallow the tablet with water; a light meal is acceptable, but a heavy, high-fat meal may slow onset.
  • Plan ahead: dapoxetine typically reaches meaningful levels in about 40 to 50 minutes, while tadalafil can act earlier; sexual activity is best started after both are active.
  • Take on an as-needed basis, typically 30 to 40 minutes before sex; do not exceed your prescribed frequency.
  • Take by mouth and do not split unless your prescriber tells you to use separate lower doses.

Dosage and Missed Dose

Follow your prescriber's instructions for the exact dose and maximum frequency. Do not double up on doses.

If you planned a dose and forgot: take it when you remember if sexual activity is still anticipated and it is safe to do so. If the planned time has passed or you are close to the next intended use, skip it. Never take two doses at the same time.

Drug and Food Interactions

Always disclose all medicines, supplements, and herbal products to your clinician and pharmacist.

  • Alpha-blockers (such as doxazosin) and many blood pressure medications: can cause marked drops in blood pressure, dizziness, or fainting.
  • Nitrates or nitroprusside: dangerous, potentially life-threatening hypotension may occur. Do not combine.
  • Alcohol: may intensify dizziness, headache, flushing, palpitations, and low blood pressure.
  • Grapefruit products: may increase tadalafil exposure; avoid to reduce the risk of adverse effects.
  • Other ED therapies: do not use additional PDE5 inhibitors or ED devices/medicines unless your prescriber says it is safe.

Share your history of allergies, blood disorders (e.g., sickle cell anemia), ulcers or bleeding issues, vascular disease, irregular heartbeat, angina, or prior heart attack or stroke. Some conditions increase risks with sexual activity or with these medicines.

Important Warnings

  • Stop and seek emergency help for symptoms of a heart attack or stroke: chest/arm/neck/jaw pain, severe dizziness, fainting, trouble speaking, vision change, or one-sided weakness.
  • Priapism warning: an erection lasting more than 4 hours needs urgent medical care to prevent long-term damage.
  • Dizziness, sleepiness, and blurred vision can occur. Until you know your response, do not drive or operate machinery.
  • Heat, fever, exercise, or alcohol can amplify lightheadedness. Rise slowly from sitting or lying positions.
  • Does not protect against STIs or HIV. Use condoms and safer-sex practices as appropriate.
  • Not intended for women or for anyone under 18 years of age. Older adults may be more sensitive to its effects.
  • Avoid heavy drinking (for example, 5 or more drinks) because it increases the risk of low blood pressure and adverse effects.

Possible Side Effects

Many people tolerate the medication well. Mild effects, when they occur, often ease with time.

Seek medical advice promptly for rash with blistering or pus, breathing difficulties, severe dizziness/fainting, sudden vision or hearing changes, or signs of priapism.

Alternatives and Similar Medicines

If Super Cialis is not suitable or not available, clinicians in the USA may consider:

  • Tadalafil alone (generic Cialis): on-demand 10-20 mg, or daily 2.5-5 mg for steady effect.
  • Sildenafil (generic Viagra): 25-100 mg on demand; shorter duration than tadalafil.
  • Vardenafil (generic Levitra): 5-20 mg on demand; similar profile to sildenafil.
  • Avanafil (Stendra): 50-200 mg on demand; may have faster onset.
  • For PE: off-label SSRIs such as sertraline or paroxetine, or clomipramine; topical anesthetics (lidocaine/prilocaine sprays or creams) may also be used.
  • Separate-tablet strategy: tadalafil (FDA-approved) plus a clinician-prescribed alternative for PE. Note: dapoxetine itself is not FDA-approved in the USA.

Choice depends on medical history, concurrent drugs, side-effect tolerance, and desired onset/duration. Discuss with your prescriber.
