Special Events

  • The Mayor & Council of the Town of Selbyville has designated March as “Kids’ Art Month”.

  • *54th Annual Old Timers Day Celebration* to be held Saturday June 19, 2010. Details to follow!

Old Timers Day is a special Selbyville Town event celebrated each year in June. 2009's event was a huge success. See the left side bar to see the picture gallery taken during "Old Timers Day" 2007, 2008 & 2009.

  • *Annual Halloween Parade* (Under Review) Always the last Wednesday before the 31st and @ 7 PM.  Route is Church & Railroad Ave to Church & Main St. Prizes Given for various costume divisions, best floats etc.  "Trick or Treat" is always on the evening of October 31st, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM & Trick or Treat's age limit is 12 Years of age.

                                                                     

  • * Annual Selbyville Christmas Parade* (Under Review) A holiday tradition! Don't miss the variety of attractions including elaborate floats, marching bands, beauty queens, local clubs, and classic cars. This parade is the premier event of the holiday season. Christmas Parade is always the first Friday in December @ 7 PM.  The parade route is Church & Railroad Ave. to Church & Main St. Prizes given for best in Divisions such as floats, bands, ideas and costumes.
